About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Educational Technology in the School of Education at the College of William & Mary.  I teach in both the undergraduate and graduate teacher education program as well as in the Curriculum and Educational Technology doctoral program.  Prior to coming to William & Mary, I was an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology in the College of Education at Towson University.  I completed my Ph.D in Instructional Technology at the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia where I studied with Glen Bull at the Center for Technology in Teacher Education

I am a former high school social studies teacher and continue to work closely with social studies teacher in partner K-12 schools.   I’m also interested in helping preservice and inservice teachers in developing their Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) to facilitate effective technology integration in K-12 classrooms.

I’m a Seinfeld aficionado, rabid fan of all things Notre Dame, and the proud owner of a minitature poodle.  I have never been defeated in a thumb wrestling match and have a real knack for identifying the voice of narrators in movies, television shows, and commercials.
